Handcrafted in San Francisco, we call it "nature's candy bar" and we're striving to make it the "candy bar" of the future; a sweet grain-free treat that's all pleasure and NO guilt.
You won't find us mixed in with all the other snacks on a grocery store shelf—we don't believe a shelf life is any life at all—so all our bars are handmade to order and delivered right to your door.
While developing our recipe we focused on three main goals:
1. To choose nutrient-dense ingredients that nourish the body.
2. To avoid overly-processed and inflammatory foods such as gluten, grains, dairy, soy, corn and syrupy fillers.
3. To provide a well-balanced boost of energy with adequate protein, fiber, healthy fats and natural sugars.
We know that real food tastes best, and believe that everyone should be able to grab an on-the-go snack that's truly delicious, while giving you real energy to conquer whatever your day may bring.
We don't believe in filling our bars with empty sugars, processed syrups or chemicals, so Nola's sweetness and natural preservatives comes from delicious clover honey—antibacterial, anti-fungal and filled with flavonoids and antioxidants.
We choose to get our daily dose of protein from highly-digestible quinoa and pumpkin seeds instead of relying on processed protein powders or disruptive allergens.
We've carefully hand-picked each of our vendors and are proud to work with and support many fair-trade organizations, family-run businesses and local farms.
Our bars are handcrafted and as such, come with all the benefits and character of a homemade good—you may not get perfect edges or uniform sizing, but what we can guarantee is a snack made with true love.
